Richmond area Art Therapy Job Opportunities



 Hello Members,

Hope you are staying hydrated! Here are two new job announcements in the Richmond area.

If you are in the Richmond area and would like to take on some clients on a private practice basis, please contact us. We have information about a studio owner who teaches art classes in the southside of Richmond who is looking for an art therapist to join her space.

Part Time Outpatient Services

This position is at Resource Guidance Center, a Christian faith based counseling agency in Richmond with two locations (one on Huguenot and one near Willow Lawn). ob Summary
Clinician to provide individual, family and group therapy and psychoeducation to adolescent substance abuse and co-occurring population through adolescent drug court. Clinician will work closely with schools and courts and have primary responsibility for caseload. Job duties include initial assessments, treatment planning, case coordination, administering drug screens, and group facilitation. Evenings required.
Position is part of career development program.  

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a human service related field with a minimum of 6 months clinical experience with SED and substance abusing youth. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must be able to articulate and utilize multiple treatment modalities proven effective in working with the target population. Must be able to work effectively while managing multiple goals and processes and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other professionals.  
Preferred Qualifications
Computer literacy, experience in a clinical setting or in a community mental health center.
