The Dream Rocket Project - Over 14 Venues
Over this next year people from around the world are coming together to create a 32,000 sq foot quilt with the theme; Dare to Dream. This massive quilt will completely wrap a 37 story, 363 foot Saturn V moon Rocket replica at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, this wrapping will take place in May & June 2011. Before the wrapping of the Rocket we are displaying submitted artwork in over 14 venues, such as Children's Museums, Public Libraries, and Galleries. We are also scheduling a three year traveling tour for this artwork once the wrap comes down in 2011. It costs $20 to participate. You must reserve your spot ASAP, first come first serve.
