Notes: This comprehensive course teaches a wide range of creative interventions for working with traumatized children. This course demonstrates sensory-based techniques that significantly enhance trauma therapy by providing children the opportunity to express their trauma experience through multiple creative approaches. The course can be applied to Level One or Level Two Trauma Specialist Certification with the National Institute for Trauma and Loss.
Purchase of the book, Creative Interventions with Traumatized Children, 2008 Guilford Publications, ISBN:1593856156 (332 pages) is required reading for successful completion of this course. For your convenience, this book is available for purchase for $38 from the TLC Online Bookstore.
The cost of taking this course online is $100 which includes CECs. Upon successful completion of assignments, tests and evaluation you can download a CE Certificate of Completion. This course provides 6 continuing education contact hours and also provides 6 contact hours for Play Therapy (APT approved provider 01-108).
