Webcast: Talking with Children After a Suicide Loss

    
The  New York State Office of Mental Health Suicide Prevention Initiative will host a web cast: Talking With Children After A Suicide Loss. 
 
The web cast will feature three different segments with offerings specifically for parents, educators and clinicians. The shows feature a panel comprised of   three national experts: Dr. Jack Jordan, Dr. Vanessa McGann and Maureen Underwood  who will provide in depth  advice on how to talk to kids (ages 10-24) about suicide loss with specific advice for parents, educators and clinicians. 
 
The web casts can be accessed on February 2  & 3 from 3:00-4:30 pm both days athttp://www.omh.ny.gov/omhweb/webcasts.  
 
After the broadcasts of the webcasts, the shows  will be archived  and available athttp://www.omh.ny.gov/omhweb/suicideprevention or at www.preventsuicideNY.org . Information will be available  on how to order no cost  DVDS as well.
